This is truly frightening, and heartbreaking.

A huge eruption at a fireworks market near Mexico City has left ten people dead, and 60 injured. It's not clear what set off this massive chain of fireworks, but the video is chilling.

The Mexican Red Cross attempted to save as many lives as possible, sending ten ambulances and over 50 paramedics to the scene. Sadly, most of the damage had been done in one of the freakiest accidents ever caught on film.

In 2005, a fire engulfed the same market, touching off a chain of explosions that leveled hundreds of stalls just ahead of Mexico's Independence Day. A similar fire at the San Pablito Market also destroyed hundreds of stands in September 2006.

When more information becomes available, we will share it with you.
