12th Annual Trey Hutchison Awards Luncheon Set for Friday

The Caddo/Bossier Domestic Violence Task Force is holding the 12th Annual Trey Hutchison Awards Luncheon later this week.

It's scheduled for Friday, October 2, from 11:30AM-1PM at Ernest's Orleans Restaurant. The event honors the memory of the Bossier City police officer who was slain in August 2004 while responding to a domestic violence call. Trey's father, Mark Hutchison, will be the keynote speaker.

The event also features a tribute honoring late Caddo Parish District Attorney Charles Scott. Special recognition will be presented to his son, Rex.

The annual luncheon publicly recognizes and pays tribute to members of our law enforcement community who champion justice for domestic violence victims and their families in Caddo and Bossier Parishes. Each year, nominees are presented by their respective agencies to be considered for this award.

Admission is $25 per person in cash, check or credit card at the door. No shows or late cancellations will be invoiced for the cost. Reservations or cancellations must be made by noon Thursday, October 1.
