2 Headed Turtle at Texas Zoo Gets Facebook Page

A two headed turtle born last month at the San Antonio Zoo has become so popular that zoo publicists have started her own Facebook page.

Zoo officials say the Texas 'cooter' turtle, named Thelma and Louise for the female duo in the 1991 Oscar-winning movie, has been doing well. They say the turtle eats and swims and added that the two heads -  named Louise Left and Thelma Right - seem to get along just fine.

The new Facebook page, updated earlier today, showed photos of the 'miracle' reptile and even imaginary conversations between the two heads.

The turtle hatched June 18th and is currently on display at the zoo's Friedrich Aquarium.
