While the Academy Awards annually honor the best in film, the 2018 lineup of featured musical acts are poised to outdo their actor peers.

The 90th Oscars, which will air March 4, announced its lineup of performers Friday morning (February 23), and the roster could double as its own mini-festival. Mary J. Blige, who's nominated as an actor and in the Best Original Song category, will perform, as will Common, Andra Day, Gael Garcia Bernal, Miguel, Natalia Lafourcade, Keala Settle and Sufjan Stevens.

While Blige prepares to tackle “Mighty River” from Mudbound, Oscar-winner Common and Day will perform “Stand Up for Something” from Marshall. Bernal, Miguel and Lafourcade will sing “Remember Me” from Coco, and Settle is set to sing the captivatingly emotional "This Is Me" from The Greatest Showman. Finally, Stevens will perform “Mystery of Love” from Call Me by Your Name.

Jimmy Kimmel, who hosted The Oscars in 2017, will return as host, and told Rolling Stone he is not planning to shy away from any political scandal that has erupted over the past year, particularly where Harvey Weinstein is concerned.

"I have no interest in protecting Harvey Weinstein. I couldn't care less about Harvey Weinstein. Hopefully, he will get what he deserves and we'll all move on with our lives," he said, but noted he might have been getting ahead of himself, as "North Korea may have struck the Dolby Theatre" by the time the ceremony is set to air.
