’50 Shades of Grey’ Movie’s Lead Actors Announced

They are the most talked about movie roles in recent memory. And now we know who will star in the erotic movie adaptation of the hugely popular "50 Shades of Grey" book.

After months of speculation, author EL James has now confirmed that Charlie Hunnam will play Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson will be Anastasia Steele.

Author E.L. James announced the news on Monday morning in a number of bombshell tweets.

"I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey," the first tweet said, ending months of breathless speculation.

Moments later James wrote, "The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey."

Hunnam stars in Sons of Anarchy on AMC. Johnson is the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson.

These are two of the most sought-after roles in Hollywood.
