The AP reports that Raymond Roberge of Bridgeport, CT dialed 911 three times on Sunday. When authorities  showed up at his house, the 65-year-old man allegedly gave them money "to go to the store and buy him some beer."

Not surprisingly, Roberge was arrested and charged with misusing the 911 system.He was later released on $500 bond and according to the report faces criminal charges.

The report adds that Roberge has dialed 911 some  79 times, including one call offering police  "$20 and some loose change to sit with him."
