With our bigger than ever Flashback Party rapidly approaching (March 1st at Diamond Jack's Casino), we thought it'd be a good time to revive another of the 80s biggest hits, Bruce Springsteen's 'I'm On Fire'.

'I'm On Fire' was written and first recorded by Springsteen in 1982, but wasn't release until '85, the fourth single from the highly successful 'Born In the USA' album. The song, described by Bruce as 'combining sexual tension with a rockabilly beat', peaked at #6 on the Billboard charts in early '85 and was a top 5 hit in both the UK and Europe.

In the video, shot in March 1985 in Los Angeles, Springsteen plays a working class auto mechanic attracted to married, very well-to-do, female customer who brings her vintage Ford Thunderbird in for frequent servicing. The video debuted in mid-April, received extensive MTV airplay, and later in the year won MTV's Best Male Video award.
