9-Year-Old Killed By Horse At Family Farm

A nine-year-old boy has died from injuries after he was trampled by a horse on his family’s farm Tuesday in Fouke, Arkansas.

According to the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, the boy took a rope and tried put it over the neck of the family’s horse. Details of the accident are unknown, though it appears that he became tangled in the rope, causing him to be trampled.

First responders treated the boy on the scene. He was then airlifted to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
