91-Year-Old Swims Cross Lake

Dr. Harry Briggs is an inspiration. At 91-years-old, he is still swimming to honor his late wife and help his beloved school, Northwestern State University in Natchitoches.

He made the swim in about four hours. He was accompanied by Cross Lake Patrol officers to make sure he was safe.

Briggs was honored during a fan appreciation gathering at Superior Steakhouse. He's quite an amazing man!
