Poor Adele. She’s been so unlucky in love prior to current boyfriend Simon Konecki. And for once, we’re not talking about the dude – likely a fashion photographer — who inspired her best-seller ’21.’  Yes, there was another not-so-good boyfriend and their relationship was source material for her previous album. The explosive new book, ‘Adele: The Biography,’ claims that Adele’s first love who inspired her debut ’19′ left her for a man.

Damn, Adele really knows how to pick ‘em!

The book claims that only four hours went by after Adele declared her love for this person when ran off with one of her gay friends. According to The Daily Mail, author Marc Shapiro writes, “Adele had professed her love and he did the same. She had known he was bisexual but, in the rush of romance, felt they could make it work … four hours after laying their emotional cards on the table, the boy ran off with one of Adele’s gay friends!”

That had to smart. While humiliated, Adele and the unnamed bisexual boy tried to make their relationship work. It failed, as he cheated on her for months and she had enough of the infidelity.

Adele hasn’t hidden this fact –she even writes about it in her official bio on her website. She posted: ‘Daydreamer’ is about this boy I was in love with, like proper in love with, he was bi and I couldn’t deal with that. All the things I wanted from my boyfriend, he was never going to be, I get really jealous anyway, so I couldn’t fight with girls and boys.”

The relationship is said to have hastened and exacerbated Adele’s drinking problem.

While it sucks for Adele to have to deal with shady dudes, at least she turns her dating rotten lemons into a pitcher of gourmet lemonade via her music. She mines her personal life, using it to fuel her lyrics and her emotional delivery. The music world is a better place because of it.
