It was a close call for Amanda Brown on tonight’s new episode of 'The Voice.' Her cover of the Zutons’ ‘Valerie’ had several of the judges dancing and grooving in their seats, but only one of them hit the buzzer.

The last few notes she sang were absolutely perfect, and just seconds before the song ended, Cee Lo Green finally turned around. She might have won over more than just one of them if only she had unleashed those powerful vocals a little bit earlier.

"The more the song progressed, the more comfortable you got," Christina Aguilera commented. Adam Levine  -- who expressed his regret over having not pushed his button -- turned to Cee Lo at the end of the audition and said, "You got a good one."

Brown grew up in church and was raised primarily on gospel music, but she admitted that she was blown away when she heard Radiohead for the first time. After that, she dove headfirst into music and started experimenting with all sorts of different genres. Over the years, she has had some pretty incredible experiences, including singing backup for Justin Timberlake, Lenny Kravitz, Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys, Adele and more.

Performing with other musicians helped her realize that she wants to be her own artist -- and with Cee Lo in her corner, that dream just might come true.
