An Argument Between Lovers Leads to Fatal Shooting

An argument between lovers late Wednesday morning turned into a deadly shooting in Shreveport. Police say the shooter was at his girlfriend's home in the 300 block of West 68th Street.

The couple got into an argument and the boyfriend fired multiple shots through the front door hitting the woman. Police say the man then shot and killed himself.

The woman is alive and was taken to University Health. Her condition is unknown at this time. The names of the two involved have not yet been released but it is being reported that the pair were in their 20's.
