The Dog Park for Shreveport hits another snag. The City Council is expected to reject all of the bids for the park which is scheduled to be built at the Stoner Park on the Clyde Fant Parkway. Bids to build the Dog Park range from $635,388 TO $871,000.

The city only has $280,000 for the park. That money came from the Red River Waterway Commission. The city will now look at trimming some of the many features to trim the pricetag. Currently, the plans call for water features, tunnels, walkways and much more. Some of those features will have to be scaled back to fit within the budgeted amount.
