For as long as I can recall, the rule of thumb was to NEVER use a coupon when you go on a date. Supposedly it made you look cheap. And today, it looks like things have changed quite a bit.

Since the advent of internet dating, it seems as though going out for a dinner date has increased exponentially. So much so that guys are willing to risk their chance on another date with the same person by using a...(gasp)...coupon.

In a new survey, only 13% of women said they'd stop dating a guy if he paid with a coupon on a first date. That seems like a pretty big shift, in the span of 10 years.  Because of the economy and the cost of going out, women are more understanding about them saving a few bucks.

Interesting to note, this same survey found that only 37% of people say they've used a coupon on a date. (Chances are that number is higher).
