One Powerball ticket sold in a Publix supermarket in Zephyrhills, Florida is worth $590.5 million, the largest single-ticket jackpot in U.S. history.

Some of the consolation prizes from Saturday's drawing are tickets worth $2 million each, sold in New York state and South Carolina. Thirty-three people in New York and 17 other states win a cool $1 million. Six of them were sold in New York.

Fox News reports that Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo space plane blasted off on Monday for the first test flight from Mojave Air and Spaceport in California.

It was taken into the air by a mothership craft called WhiteKnightTwo and released at 46,000 feet. It's speed was Mach 1.2 which is faster than the speed of sound.
