What an incredible way to help out a family who has given so much to defend this country.

Tech Sgt. Javon and his wife Master Sgt. Tavara Lee stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base are looking a bone marrow match for their son. Micah is 11 years old and has recently been diagnosed with a blood disease. It all started when Micah came down with an illness causing jaundice in his eyes. After a bone marrow biopsy, earlier this year the diagnosis came down. Micah's body does not make enough red blood cells, white blood cells, or platelets.

He's currently on medication preparing him for a bone marrow transplant.

Now he just needs a bone marrow match. While a drive was held on base to find Micah a match,  you can still get yourself tested to see if you can help. All you have to do is stop by LifeShare to donate and get tested. If you can't stop by, register online and they will send you a swab kit in the mail.
