‘BATmobile’ To Be Deployed

Caddo Parish Sheriff’s deputies will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in north Caddo Parish on Thursday, August 11. 

The checkpoint is funded by a grant from the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission. The focus of the grant is to reduce deaths and injuries from alcohol-related traffic crashes.

Sheriff Steve Prator advises everyone to designate a sober driver every time they consume alcohol. Buckle up, every one, every trip. Report unsafe drivers to your local law enforcement agency. 

The BATmobile, which is housed here but shared throughout 8 parishes, will be deployed for the first time during this operation.
