BBQ Cookoff Set for Main Street in Minden on Saturday

You will start smelling grilling meats this weekend in Minden. It's time for the Grilling on Main Cookoff.

Cooking will kick off Friday night with the tasting and judging starting Saturday. There will be Grand Prizes for 1st through 3rd places in each category along with a Best in Show Award.

This is a cooking contest for the entire family. There's a competition for youngsters ages 12-17 for cooking hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill.

If you're interested in showing off your culinary skills, the Cook Off will be judged in 3 categories......1) Brisket.....2) Chicken......3) Ribs.

The event features lots of entertainment for children and several craft vendors.
