Benton Church Holds Community Celebration

Elizabeth Baptist Church in Benton held a community-wide celebration on Saturday.

Residents came from all over Bossier Parish for free hot dogs, nachos, cotton candy, cakes/cupcakes, Italian Ice, drinks/water, and free inflatables and games for kids. Music and food was enjoyed by families all day. Smiles were the order of the day as youngsters played and enjoyed a day of fellowship. Some folks went home with great prizes, too.
They gave away some fabulous door prizes including: washer/dryer, bikes, living room furniture set, furniture, $200 gift certificates, plus more.

The Bossier Sheriff's Office also brought out their bloodhounds, Ace and Sadie. These pups were a huge hit with the children.
