Boat Motor Stolen At Benton Boat Launch

Bossier Sheriff’s Office detectives are searching for the suspect(s) who stole a boat motor straight off a boat that was parked at the boat launch for Cypress Black Bayou off of Highway 162 in Benton Saturday.

The thief(s) stole a red Honda GX270 motor with an off-white tank that had a six-foot-long swamp runner shaft attached to it. Detectives determined the motor was stolen from the boat sometime between 8 – 8:40 a.m. on Nov. 19.
