[ORIGINAL STORY, June 4, 2015]  A local apartment complex worker dies after being electrocuted.

Bossier City police say an employee at Alexis Park Apartments on Loreco Street was conducting maintenance to a flagpole at the entrance of the complex. He was apparently electrocuted when the flagpole touched a neighboring power line. SWEPCO was on the scene and deemed the area safe.

The employee was rushed to Willis Knighton Bossier, where he died from his injuries. Another employee with him suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He's recovering at WK-B.

Police are investigating the death, but have labeled it accidental at this point. No names have been released.
