A Bossier City teenager is arrested for a shooting last month that left another teen wounded.

Detectives with the Bossier City Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit have charged 17-year-old Tommy Thomas with attempted second degree murder. He's accused of shooting 17-year-old Travarus Watson at the intersection of Burdine and Lampkin Streets on February 25.

Police say Watson suffered a gunshot wound to the chest before running to the back yard of a home in the 4300 block of Burdine, where he banged on the door for help. The resident contacted police. Watson was taken to University Health in Shreveport for treatment.

Thomas was taken into custody this afternoon and booked into the Bossier City Jail. His bond is set at $250,000.
