Haughton Middle School and many other Bossier Parish Schools observed Unity Day to take a stand against bullying. According to a press release from the BPSB:

Students at HMS wore orange, watched videos about bullying and created unity links. Each student wrote an anti-bullying pledge or slogan on orange slips of paper, formed them into links, then joined them all together to form unity chains.

These unity chains are now hanging throughout the hallways of Haughton Middle School as visual reminders they stand united against bullying.

Students also made pledges and signed their names to be upstanders, not bystanders.

This is one example of many across the district, demonstrating how Bossier Schools are observing Bullying Awareness Month.
