Boy Scouts Honor One of Their Own, Thomas Larry

Dozens of Boy Scouts showed up today to honor one of their own. 11-year-old Thomas Larry was one of three scouts who died in a tragic sail boat accident on Lake O' the Pines in Northeast Texas.

Thomas' parents decided to donate his organs to help save other lives. A flag was flown at the hospital while Larry's organs were harvested. Scouts gathered to pray and recite the Boy Scout pledge to remember their brother scout. The flag was then lowered and presented to Larry's family.

Doctors say Larry's heart, liver and kidneys are some of the organs that will be donated to help others.

We remembered Thomas and this act of generosity.
