Bossier Parish Community College has scheduled a Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Career Fair.

"This career fair is not going to be your typical career fair," said BPCC Dean of Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Division Sandra Partain in a news release. "Our goal is to provide information about technology, manufacturing and engineering careers and give people the opportunity to talk and ask questions of those employers in those industries, as well as give attendees information on the training available to have them job-ready quickly."

Some of the employers that will be onhand are Ternium USA, Ronpac, Omni Specialty Packaging, CSC, Xentient LABS and Benteler Steel/Tube.

Attendees will also get a chance to find out more about training opportunities and how quickly they can receive training for the particular career in which they are interested.

The career fair is set for 10AM-2PM Friday, July 10, in the Center for Advancement Manufacturing (Building L) on the BPCC campus. It's free and open to the public.
