The good times will be rolling this weekend during the Krewe of Centaur Mardi Gras parade. While you wait for the parade to begin, you have the chance to participate in something that is in a word, awesome. Perhaps, I should say record breaking.

The Shreveport Aquarium will attempt to break the world record for the Longest Mexican Wave Line. If you miss the chance to participate at this weekend's parade, no worries you can try again next weekend. The Shreveport Aquarium will make two attempts to break the Guinness World Record. The second and final attempt will be on February 25th along Clyde Fant Parkway before the Gemini Mardi Gras Parade begins to roll.

You can volunteer to assist the Shreveport Aquarium team work with participants to get everything ready for this record breaking event. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and volunteers can sign up as individual or a group. Click here to sign up as volunteer today.
