UPDATE 2: Shreveport police have released more info about a trio of shootings this afternoon.

Interim Assistant Police Chief Bill Goodin tells KEEL News just after 2 p.m., officers got a report of people in two separate vehicles shooting at each other at Youree and E. Dalzell. Shortly after that, they got another report of shots fired at Southern and Ockley, and on the way to that call, another one came in about a shooting on I-49 S between Kings and the Ockley overpass.

Goodin says detectives didn't find anything at Ockley and Southern, but at the I-49 call, they discovered one male dead. Two others were apparently struck by gunfire, after which they fled the scene, moving through the Ockley/Southern area.

Detectives aren't ruling anything out at this point, but they aren't ready to say the three shootings are connected. A car abandoned on I-49 has been impounded.

UPDATE:  Less than 10 police units remain at the scene of the reported shooting at I-49 and Kings. Still no further details on this afternoon's incident.
