Brittney Spears Reportedly Offered $10 Million for X Factor

Deadline.com reports that Britney Spears has been offered $10 million to be a judge on the Fox singing competition X Factor. Spears would be in line to replace Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger who will not be returning to the show for the upcoming season.According to The Hollywood Reporter the negotiations are being handled by Britney's fiance Jason Trawick, and are supposed to be finalized next week.

There is speculation that the negotiations aren't as simple as signing on the dotted line. E! News reports that Brit-Brit is holding out for $16 million. Really, what's another $6 million between friends?

It wouldn't seem out of place for Britney to get her $16 million. After all, Jennifer Lopez originally signed on to American Idol for $12 million, and is now pulling in $20 million this season.
