Variety is the spice of life, especially when it comes to craft beer.

Parish Brewing Company is a Lafayette owned craft brewery located in Broussard. This Thursday and Friday, they will be bringing their craft to Shreveport. With breweries popping up in our area and operating successfully, it will be interesting to try some brews from another parish in our beloved state.

Brewmaster and owner Andrew Godley will be on hand serving up some beverages and looking to meet you.

The fun starts tonight at Rotolo's Pizzeria in Shreveport during a 4-5 p.m. happy hour. Then the party will move to Twisted Root to close out the night, 6-10 p.m.

On Friday, you will get another chance to check out Parish Brewing Co. They will start off at Daq's Wings and Grill, before moving to The Round Bar at 5 p.m. until close.

You'll try three of their brews; Canebrake, Envie and South Coast. Canebrake is an American wheat ale that is described as "crisp and smooth with a golden honey color." Envie is an American pale ale made with citrus American hops and caramel malts. Finally, South Coast is an amber ale with toasty caramel malts.

Brewing Parish Company is also bringing some swag to hand out.
