Caddo Parish Relay For Life

Once again this year, walkers will be going around the clock in the battle against cancer.

Coming up Friday night, the 29th, it's the eighth annual Caddo Parish American Cancer Society Relay For Life. There's been a change of venue... Now, it gets underway at the Byrd High School practice facility at 6pm.

If you've never been before, Relay For Life is kind of an all night affair. Teams camp out with the goal of keeping someone on the track at all times.

The Luminaria Ceremony takes place just after sundown, helping to honor both cancer survivors and those who lost their battle.
