If you find yourself at a loss when it comes to Facebook, Twitter, and texting, but your kids are crazy about science, Caddo Parish Public Schools is putting on a free week of technology training for parents and a youth summer science camp.

Caddo Parish Summer of Innovation is an awesome week for learning and technology. This Week of Innovation will feature a Youth Science Camp and a Parent Tech Training Camp on June 18-June 21.

The Parent Technology Training is geared toward parents, caregivers, teachers educators and community leaders who have the responsibility of education today's youth. The workshops will focus on social media, digital citizenship, preventing cyber bullying and the learning styles of the 21st Century Student.

The Youth Summer Science Camp interactive week long Science Workshops are full of exciting, engaging and educational fun for the summer. Hands on experiments, innovative programs and national recognized scientists and educators.

Both Parent and Youth Trainings held at Huntington High School Monday - Wednesday and only on Thursday both Parent and Youth Camps will be at Green Oaks High School. Tuesday June 19 Parent Only Workshop 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Huntington High. Thursday, June 21 Parents Only Workshop 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Green Oaks High School.
