Calvary quarterback Shea Patterson, the nation's top quarterback prospect, announced plans Tuesday to attend Ole Miss after graduating in the spring of next year.

Patterson, the number one high school quarterback in the eyes of numerous scouts and scouting magazines, picked the Rebels over LSU and more than 25 other major colleges.

Patterson, at press conference held at Calvary, told the crowd he felt "most comfortable" with Mississippi coach Hugh Freeze and his staff.
