"The Sound of Music" production on NBC last night was live and that's enough to make anyone nervous, but Carrie Underwood pulled it off.

Carrie Underwood starred in the live production of the musical. She played Maria, while Stephen Moyer from "True Blood" was Captain Von Trapp. It came off without a hitch. But some are a little critical of Underwood's acting ability. The TV production was a staging of the Broadway version. It was not a video remake of the movie. Underwood tweeted about her big night.
