If you've been following the news, then you know our friends, family and neighbors in south Louisiana are going through a horrific bout of flooding... something that we're all too familiar with in our neck of the woods.
I'm blessed to know Michelle Barr, the owner of Right Lead Equestrian Center in Minden, LA. Michelle worked in Baton Rouge for several and has had several friends and horse owners reach out for assistance.
We've learned the hard way in north Louisiana that flooding doesn't discriminate. We've personally been witness to friends, family and neighbors and in a lot of instances, ourselves, losing everything to flood waters.
If you're like me, you've watched the news and your social feeds in shock over the last few days. Our state has been through so much in the last year and the flooding that's occurring in south Louisiana seems like adding insult to injury.
