Jonah Hill and Emma Stone aren’t the only maniacs Netflix is putting on display today. The gorgeous ladies of GLOW are psyching themselves up for Season 2 with a little Flashdance, now that Netflix has booked a June premiere.
It’s not just the parks that are getting bigger. Westworld Season 2 will super-size a number of its upcoming episodes beyond the usual hour running time, and the finale will go full-on Game of Thrones with its length.
Stranger Things 3 casting is already the stuff of fairy tales. The Netflix drama’s ‘80s sensibility will carry on, as Princess Bride icon Cary Elwes is set to join the Stranger Things cast in a political role that confirms other recent rumors.
Just as Arrow Season 6 jettisoned Oliver’s flashbacks, so too will Season 7 make another foundational change. Series showrunners Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle are apparently stepping back, and will be replaced by a longtime voice from the writers’ room.
There’s missing the point by a country mile, and missing it by an entire dystopian republic. A sleepwear company appears to have opted for the latter, paying homage to The Handmaid’s Tale with a wildly ill-conceived line of silk slips.
HBO made a point of correcting pay parity among its male and female stars, though the network understandably declined to name examples. Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood has no such qualms, however, and reveals her raise won’t take effect until Season 3.
