January 15, 2013 Due to icy conditions, I-49 N/Bert Kouns to I-20 is being closed. I-49 South to Inner Loop is bring shut down. Crews have also closed I-220 from I-20 out by the Racetrack around the northern section around Shreveport and Bossier City.
The threat of sleet, snow and slippery roads has local residents concerned about conditions as the first winter storm of the year arrives.
