Check Out Some of These Stars Homes and Comparisons in Shreveport-Bossier

I am always amazed when I watch those real estate shows. The prices are crazy. You can spend 2 million dollars for a 2-bedroom, 1200 square foot house in Malibu. That same money will buy just about anything your heart desires in Shreveport or Bossier. Let's check out some of the local high dollar homes.  Then I'll show you some of the crazy cool homes the celebs have.

This is the most expensive home I could find in Shreveport. It lists for $2.5 million. Located at 855 McCormick, the stately abode boasts nearly 8,000 square feet spread across five bedrooms and 4.5 baths. The home sits on 2.5 acres loaded with old oak trees. The home was built in 1923, but has been completely modernized.

This Haughton home lists for $1.9 million.  It is at 15 Nine Oaks Court in Olde Oaks.  The home has 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.  It has 8400 square feet and was built in 2007. It has parking for 7 and sits on nearly 3 acres of land.

"America's sweetheart" Sandra Bullock came to town to shoot the movie "Premonition" in 2007.  But she has also spent a ton of time in New Orleans.

Her first big starring role came in the 1994 blockbuster "Speed" and her career has been on the rise ever since. She bought this extrodinary New Orleans Garden District home in 2010 for $2.25 million dollars.  She lives there part of the year with her adopted son.

Power couple Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have a massive place in Brentwood, California.  It cost them $20 million dollars.

The mansion is 22,000-square feet and boasts eight bedrooms, a six-car garage, lagoon-shaped swimming pool with spa, a weight room for Tom to train in and a wine cellar. They bought the land several years ago for $11 million and have finally finished building the complex. Their neighbours will include Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heidi Klum and her singer husband, Seal.

This Florida home has something you won't find in Shreveport or Bossier: parking for a jet airplane.

The price on this one is not as crazy as other stars have paid for their homes. You might call is a bargain at $2.5 million. John Travolta had this Ocala, Florida home custom-designed so it could accommodate a couple of jets. Next to the house is a private 1.4-mile runway with parking for his Boeing 707B and Gulfstream aircraft, plus as six cars.

This is perhaps the most amazing of all the stars homes I stumbled across.

Will and Jada Smith have what could easily be described as a kids' dream home. The house is  25,000-square-foot and has its own ZIP code. It's on 123,000-acres in Montana. This property is listed at $132.5 million.

This huge complex has everything a kid could want: basketball and tennis courts, plus 20 miles of the Sun River runs through it. It also has an indoor swimming pool.
