Chinese Kids Climb 66-Foot Ladders To Get To School [VIDEO]
Remember the old joke about the elderly man telling his grandkids, 'When I was your age I walked 10 miles to school, uphill, through the snow, both ways?' Well, think of the story - the true story - these Chinese children will be able to tell...and without a bit of exaggeration!
Their school is 21 miles away from home and they traverse a landscape that looks like something you'd see playing Donkey Kong. They (and their dog!) climb up a 66-foot ladder to reach the classroom sitting atop a cliff.
So, show this video to your kids the next time they start their morning whine, or maybe think about it yourself when you're stuck in that 'awful' Shreveport traffic for all of 20 minutes.
