Christus Health Holding ‘Back To School’ Checkups for Kids

Christus Health, in conjunction with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, will be taking registrations for their their Back To School Healthy Checkups, July 13-16, 3- 7PM. This year's registrations are being taken by telephone only.

The number to call to register your kids for this free checkup is (318) 681-6100. Parents and caregivers are reminded that registration will be taken over the phone only and only during the dates and times listed.

The Back To School Healthy Checkup will take place Friday, July 31, from 9AM-1PM at SciPort: Louisiana Discovery Center. This free checkup by healthcare professionals will include blood pressure, immunization check, BMI and dental and vision screenings.

The goal for this event is for every child to access of some type to health care to make sure they have a healthy start to the school year.

Children must visit four of the 25 social service agencies present at this year's Health Fair and must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Each eligible child will also receive a free backpack filled with school supplies. Each child will also receive free SciPort admission.
