That paycheck is pretty much on par with his 5-year contract.

Ed Orgeron has been heralded as a hero since stepping to coach the LSU Tigers' football team back in September. Of course, this was after LSU parted ways with longtime head coach Les Miles. Coach O has done a stellar job with the Tigers, despite loosing a nail-biter with Alabama. He was awarded the official position of coaching the Tigers shortly after his win over Texas A&M.

His reward? $675,000.

That's just for the job he's done over the last two or so months. Yep, According to SEC Country, Coach O was given that paycheck strictly for his work in the interim with LSU. It's pretty much on par with what he will be making as the official coach. His reported five-year deal for $3-4 million contract comes out to about $800,000 a year.

Not too shabby for the new guy in town. #InCoachOWeTrust
