Shreveport, Louisiana singer Cole Vosbury's blind audition on "The Voice" will air on September 24, 2013 at 7 p.m. It's safe to say all local eyes will be on the singer, whose musical roots run deep.

Cole is a member of the Cole Vosbury Trio along with his father, Robin Vosbury, who is a well known guitarist also from Shreveport. The elder Vosbury has played with The Crawdads, Claude King and B.B. Watson.

Cole attended Huntington High School and Southwood High School in Shreveport, La.

At the time of this writing, it hasn't been announced what song Cole will perform during his blind audition on "The Voice."

In 2010, he released an original song called 'Caylee's Eyes' that he co-wrote with his dad.

Cole wrote the song, which is about the deceased daughter of Casey Anthony, with his dad when he was 16 or 17 years-old. Cole says that in the time since writing it, his style has changed significantly.

We'll get to hear the proof for ourselves soon enough on 'The Voice.'
