Tis the season for family gatherings, therefore 'company is coming!' Do you do the 'freak out' clean before they get there?

I have to admit...I am one of those people. Heck, I even clean up before the maid comes to clean! Cook dinner the night before they get there? Uhhh...no! The kitchen will get dirty! (Well, that's pushing it a little too far - I'm not that bad.)
