Here's a big congratulations to John Lee on our sister station News Radio 710 KEEL. He's has been awarded the 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters.

Over his 39-year broadcasting career -- the last 35 of those years in Shreveport/Bossier -- John has come to be known as the most respected name in radio news in northwest Louisiana. He’s respected by news makers in the political and business communities for his fairness, his honesty, and his objectivity. He’s respected by area firefighters for his understanding of who they are and what they do. He’s respected by area law enforcement officers for being fair and honest with them and was even chosen by the Shreveport Police Department to be a member of its very first Citizens’ Police Academy class in 1982. And, most of all, he’s respected by the citizens of northwest Louisiana for bringing them the latest news each day and delivering it in an objective and unbiased manner.

Congratulations John!
