Cuts on the Way for Caddo Schools

Some programs in Caddo Schools could be facing cuts. The proposed 2016-2017 budget outlines cuts to drivers education, special education and summer feeding programs among others. Dr. Lamar Goree says there will also be cuts at the central office. The proposed 487 million dollar budget is 2 million less than the current budget. No teachers will be laid off, but there will be fewer teachers on the payroll this fall as a result of attrition.
