The New Orleans Pelicans may not be panicking yet, but they're definitely locating the panic button.

Since the Pels grabbed DeMarcus Cousins on All-Star weekend, the team had high hopes, however it hasn't gone the way they'd hoped. The team is 1-4 since the trade, but the win they earned was actually without Cousins on the floor. He missed this week's win over the Detroit Pistons, due to a one-game suspension he received for picking up his 18th Technical Foul of the season last weekend.

He got back on the floor last night for Nola, and here's how that went, according to the Louisiana Radio Network:

"Tough loss for the Pelicans last night. They battled one of the best teams in the NBA, but couldn’t get the victory. San Antonio left New Orleans with a 101-98 victory over the Pels in overtime. The Pelicans got big games from their big three, 29 points from Anthony Davis, 26 from Jrue Holiday and 19 came from DeMarcus Cousins, but no else really stepped up. And Cousins did not score after the third quarter."
