Last year's hugely successful Flashback Party was, by all accounts, one of the year's biggest bashes, fun for everyone, and free from controversy...except for one small exception: The '80s Softball Guy' costume worn by 96.5 KVKI morning host Robert J Wright.

Well, amidst outcries from some organizers, civic leaders and morning show partner Erin McCarty, Robert announced on the air last week that he plans to unveil himself again at this year's 'Flashback Party', Friday night, March 1st at Diamond Jack's in Bossier City.

RJW proclaimed that the 1980s polyester softball shorts, with an inseam of just less than two inches, are 'something similar to a wonder of the world, like the pyramids only smaller'. This despite constant reminders that he is ineligible for the $250 costume contest first prize.

Does Robert's costume go too far? Will he be allowed on stage as emcee of the costume contest, dance contest and more? Find out at the 'Flashback Party' a tribute to the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, with music provided by the New Orleans band, Bag Of Donuts. It'll be an exciting night, so we'll see you at Diamond Jack's on March 1!
