The mother of 3 children is dead and a Shreveport police officer was wounded in a domestic violence incident in the Caddo Heights neighborhood.

36-year-old Johnathan Robinson has been arrested after he allegedly shot and killed 27-year-old Rannita "NuNu" Williams live on Facebook. Williams was seen video streaming on the social media platform when a man appeared behind her shouting that "he was gonna make her famous". He then shot her.

Robinson then allegedly barricaded himself inside the home on Natalie Street. He fired several shots at the officers outside. One officer was wounded, suffering a shot to the wrist. The suspect eventually surrendered. Robinson has been charged with 2nd degree murder, felon in possession of a firearm and several other charges.

KEEL News caught up with Petrina Jenkins with Project Celebration, a local domestic violence program to try to make sense of this tragic incident.

KEEL also got a message from a friend of the officer wounded. We have been told the officer is at home recovering and that the injury will not affect him on the job. Doctors apparently did not remove the bullet hoping it will work itself out. The officer does have movement in his hand.

Chief Alan Crump is expected to hold a news conference later today to talk about the incident.
