Duck Dynasty is not having a great year.  The wildly popular show left the airwaves after 11 years amid claims of dipping ratings and the casts increasingly busy schedules.  The Robertsons have plenty of business opportunities that have nothing to do with the show, so the journey ahead for them seems bright.

Not so much for Deirdre and Scott Gurney.  If you don't recognize the names, they were the producers of the incredible duck hunting family saga.  Accordeing to Variety, they have been officially terminated by ITV following a fraud investigation, and a claim has been filed in California Superior Court.

What's more, they were fired from the company they founded.  It all stems from questionable business practices and some purchases made using company funds - including travel costs, mortgage payments, childcare payments, groceries, dues at the Manhattan Country Club, helicopter rides, boat expenses and pet supplies.  All in all those purchases total over $500,000.  But that's nothing compared to the millions of dollars they are accused of swindling, double dealing, and some straight tomfoolery.  You can get the all of the numbers here.

It might be a blessing in disguise for our favorite Louisiana-based, duck-hunting family.  They don't need this kind of dirty dealing getting in the way of ducks, family, and country (not necessarily in that order).
