The one occupant at home was able to safely make it outside prior to SFD arrival. The occupant told fire officials that she initially saw flames in the rear of the home then got out and began to alert neighbors.  The home did not have a working smoke alarm.

It took 8-fire units, 23-firefighters, 29-minutes to bring the situation under control. The home is uninhabitable and a total loss. The occupant will take temporary residence with family members.  There were no reported injuries.  The origin and cause of the fire is under investigation.
