Caddo Parish Registrar of Voters Ernie Roberson wants area residents to know that early voting for the April 9th Election begins Saturday, March 26th and continues through Saturday, April 2nd. There is no early voting on Easter Sunday, March 27th).

Early voters should go to the Registrar of Voters office at 525 Marshall, Suite 103, across from the Court House at the corner of Milam and Marshall in downtown Shreveport. Voting hours are 8:30 am to 6pm. All voters registered in Caddo Parish are eligible to vote in this open primary election. An ID is required.

Propositions on the ballot include tax levies and renewals and millage renewals for the Port Commission and Caddo School Board and Port Commission, plus a proposition for Caddo Fire District 4.

According to Roberson, registrar employees are not allowed to explain or give any information concerning measures on the ballot.
